Tropical breeze
Modeled after the popular Tropical Storm series from Storm
Bowling,
And like its name, it’s really like a breeze as compared to
the Tropical Storm.
Though both the storm and the breeze are using the ever
popular reactor cover stock but the core makes it a lot of difference in both
balls.
The tropical breeze is slightly milder than the tropical
storm but it still gets the job done with the proper surface preparation.
As usual I have the solid and pearl combo, laid out at 75 x
5x 40 but the pearl I left it oob and I did a surface preparation of the solid
from 1500 to 500/1000/2000 lightly polished so I can get more bite on slightly
oilier lanes.
With this pair of balls, I was able to play straighter down the
lane, for those who expect a big hook out of the ball, you might be
disappointed unless you have a lot of hand on the ball, if not it will be just
right for most bowlers.
With the hybrid version as well, you can basically have the
1-2-3 punch that you ever needed for medium dry to dry lanes.
However personally, I still wish they come out with the
original Tropical Storm core.
