“The Pivot will provide great down lane continuation, and
great power through the pin deck.”
How true this statement is, and it’s the first time I am
seeing a ball manufacturer dare to use a south paw for a demo/sales video! Kudos
to Ebonite international for this, as you made me an immediate customer even
before the ball landed on the shores of Singapore.
Now the thing about ball sales videos are that they are
largely featuring right hander videos and us south paws will have to either
imagine how it will react on the left side of the lane or find a program and
mirror image the video so we can see how it looks from our side, so when
Ebonite International came out with this sales video I was immediately sold to
it.
Anyways back to the ball.
As usual laid out 75 x 5 x 40 for this ball and kept it oob.
1st shot out of the bag at 25-5 the ball was
laboring through the midlane as there was not enough oil for it to play but
surprisingly, it managed to get to the breakpoint and made the turn and
continued through the deck as if it was powered by nuclear energy.
After 3 frames I have to move to the 30th board
and even though there was not really enough oil, it actually went the distance.
So the next day I brought this ball back to the pro shop and
had it shined up at 2000grit.
Hit the lanes again and this time round the ball came alive!
This ball with the shined up surface made me look like I was
even able to conquer the Bowling US Open.
A definite must have if you are a fan of nuclear powered
bowling ball.
